As I have mentioned, my mom has been very ill. The doctors (5 of them) were sure that she had pancreatic cancer. I asked if there was any chance that she did not, since the first biopsy did not confirm the tumor seen in her CT scan. They looked sad and shook their heads. No chance? One doctor said it was very slim maybe 3% chance that it wasn't cancer.

Well. She made it into the 3%! Today the biopsy showed that she had a massive ulcer which had created a large swelling that, on a CT scan looks like a tumor. She had been taking a medication for a possible ulcer and in the last 3 weeks she has started to heal and the swelling is almost gone.

The doctor looked at us with a HUGE smile on his face and said, "No Cancer!"

This afternoon was the sunniest most beautiful day there has ever been in San Francisco!
